Big welcome at Bodegas Carpe Diem in Alimentaria 2022

At the event, which was held in Barcelona, significant national and international marketing agreements were reached

Bodegas Carpe Diem, which belongs to the Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Agraria Virgen de la Oliva SCAAVO, participated in the  Feria Alimentaria 2022, an event held in Barcelona every two years where major companies in the agri-food sector meet.

Thus, under the umbrella of Sabor a Málaga, they occupied a space in the stand that the Regional Government of Andalusia prepared for all the companies from the Andalusian community to gather. Bodegas Carpe Diem, along with Bodegas Nilva, were the only wineries present with DOP Malaga and Sierras de Málaga.

SCAAVO’s director, Germán Luna, said, “These have been intense days, and also profitable; we came into contact with major companies in the sector.” In this regard, multiple trade agreements were reached throughout the fair, both nationally and internationally. Highlighting the visit of the Embassy of Ecuador, which saw an agreement made to pair Ecuadorian chocolates with wines from  Bodegas Carpe Diem.

Likewise, at Alimentaria they have also begun to set up commercial missions along with Extenda in the US market, opening a new path to New York and Miami. In addition, Bodegas Carpe Diem will be present at the Mundial de Jamón 2022 in Estepona, with their wines as the only distributors for the contest.

As a result, Bodegas Carpe Diem is putting the spotlight on the upcoming fairs they will attend, Salón Gourmets de Madrid, Fenavin de Ciudad Real, and Vinoble 2022, with the aim of continuing to publicise and market their wines after the great reception by those attending the Feria Alimentaria 2022.
